what is a "Poltmer"?

I'll start off with a very funny typo I just noticed on a library book. I believe they really need to decide if it's rather polymer or "poltmer" as it says on the side cover (Grammarly giving me a warning for the word "poltmer" as I type it lol, I guess they didn't have Grammarly 8). Anyway, "Poltmers" is not what I'm doing at the moment. I'm rather trying to study geophysics. If you already know me to some extent you may be asking the question on me actually coming to the library to study because I never really do that, in fact, I hate studying in a library. Well, today started a bit unlucky. Thanks to a road construction right next to my apartment, there was an issue with literally all the infrastructure as I wouldn't have access to electricity and water for the day. Right after I learned the devastating truth about not being able to use my computer throughout the day (yes I care about it more than the water part) I made an instant decision to come to the uni library and so far it's been way better than I expected. It was a really rainy day today, a storm in the morning. And the aftermath of the storm was delightful, my favourite type of weather as it feels cold but not cold enough to make you shiver.

For clarification: I did NOT give 280x 1₺ coins to the vending machine! (as of today 1£ ≈ 40₺)

British people should sue Grammarly for this!
